Concrete Basement Floor Raising
All concrete slabs can crack. Over time, the soil supporting the slab will have changes in moisture causing it to grow and shrink. As the soil shrinks, voids will form and the slab will crack as it sinks into those voids. If left unchecked these cracks can worsen over time and create tripping hazards in your basement.
Generally, the slab will have been poured with a gentle slope towards a floor drain. One of our experienced polyjacking estimators can evaluate the floor and determine if the slope is the proper one or if it is from a settling floor.
